Forget

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could all just get along?

Forget the negativity.

Forget the differences.

Forget status.

Forget age.

Forget spite.

Forget ALL the bad….just let in the good.

We are always so focused on the things we can’t/don’t have and the things that make us angry or upset and it becomes so easy to forget about all of the beautiful things we have right in front of us. We forget to be thankful we have a job, a roof over our head, a warm meal to eat.

Am I saying that we can’t be emotional and have a bad day? No! Absolutely not! We are all entitled to our own emotions and no one can take that away from us. No one. Ever.

I’ve been told before that the way I FEEL is wrong. I’ve been told that the way I feel is childish and that I shouldn’t feel that way. Completely unfair. Feelings are not something that you choose. Feelings are something that are built deep within us, they are built in so deep and are so very well connected to our heart that sometimes we don’t even understand why we’re feeling that way. But,one thing is for sure – feelings are real. They are more real than anything.

That being said – NEGATIVE feelings should NOT consume you. Take your feelings and embrace them. Accept the way you feel, accept that you cannot change certain things and accept that there are some things that you can change. Sometimes change is needed to weed out the negative. Change can provide a fresh atmosphere where you can focus on positive things.

If only we could all rid ourselves of the negative. It would make it so much easier for people to get along. It would be easier to speak to one another without having secret agendas, assumptions, resentment.

Life would be so much easier.

Life would be so much more enjoyable.

It can be.

It will be.
